But notwithstanding this fact which has obtained general recognition, Ukrainian girls have never got the title at such famous beauty contest as Miss Universe. Does it mean that their beauty unreal? 1. Yes, of course Ukrainian ladies are very lovely, but somehow girls who appear at the contests of world level are not the best representatives of this Ukrainian brides. This can have some reasons. First of all Ukraine is such a country where money can buy everything and the crown of Miss Ukraine also. 3. Russian brides are very beautiful, but their appearance is rather common and standard. They are admired by all men in the world. But last years it is modern to award women of not typical appearance. For example, in 2007 the winner was a lady from Japan, at contests of 2008 and 2009 – the winners were women from Venezuela. The beauty of Russian brides is too evident for this contest.
4. Miss Universe is also a competition which has some political influence. Many people say that political relations here are one of the most significant factors. And of course Ukraine has not reached great political relations with all the countries which are concerned organizations of Miss Universe. This factor should also be taken into account.
